Choirs
The Adult Choir is made up of members and participants who sing at the Sunday morning worship service from September to June. Our Soprano soloist is Jane Leikin. Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. and Sundays before worship from 9:00 to 9:40 a.m.
The Children's Choir sings monthly during the worship service and on special occasions. It is comprised of children in grades 2 - 6. Rehearsal are held after school on Thursday afternoons from 3:15 - 4:30 pm. Special emphasis is placed on developing the singing voice, and providing music for the church service once a month.
Companions in Christ / Lenten Study Groups
Throughout the year, Reverand Alexander leads study groups that explore specific spiritual topics and relationships in an effort to grow in faith and understanding of God.
Sunday School
Children attend the Sunday worship service with their families from 10:00 a.m. until approximately 10:20 a.m. At that time, children are invited to come forward to the children's sermon, then leave worship with their teachers and go directly to their classes. An offering for outreach projects is collected in each class.
Youth Group
Our Director of Youth Ministries oversees the Junior and Senior High Youth Group, which meet several Sundays a month for a variety of activities. New participants are invited and encouraged to attend.
Educational Forums
The Board of Education arranges occasional Sunday morning discussions, which are held from 11:30-12:30 following Fellowship Time. The Board draws on the talents and experiences of our members and friends as well as organizations that are supported by our Outreach Program.
Moms/Gals Group
Roughly every other month, the Moms/Gals Group meets for fun companionship and to discuss issues of family and faith. Gatherings are held on Sunday evenings in the Youth room.
Bible Study
Bible Study meets weekly early Tuesday mornings to review and discuss the current lexionary readings. All are welcome.
Book Discussion Group
Meets once each month from 10:00 - 12:00 noon. Books of general interest are selected by participants. A wide variety of books has been discussed from fiction, non- fiction, religion and biography. New members are always welcome.
